When selecting a mosaic, the package should be inspected first. The test method of the package is as follows: Check whether the manufacturer is regular by checking the mosaic box. The products produced by regular manufacturers, the surface of each package will be printed with the name of the product, the name of the manufacturer, the registered trademark, the specific date of manufacture, color number, specification, quantity and weight, and should also be printed with fragile, Moisture and other signs. In addition, each box of the product will be accompanied by a certificate of inspection, and moisture-proof paper should be placed inside each box to prevent the mosaic from getting wet. If the package that the owner sees does not have such a standardized design, it means that the manufacturer is not a regular manufacturer, and it is best not to buy such a product.

After testing the package, we will check the quality of the monolithic mosaic. The detection method of the monolithic mosaic quality is as follows:

1. Check whether the surface of the glass mosaic is flat, and see if each mosaic is of the same specification. Check that the edges of each small particle are neat, and also place the monolithic mosaic on a level surface to see if it is flat.

2. The distribution area of the decorative piece of texture glass mosaic should account for more than 20% of the total area, and it is distributed very evenly.

3. Touch the glazed surface of the glass mosaic with your hand to see if it is smooth. If it is very smooth, it means that the slip resistance of the product is not good.

4. Carefully check the back of the mosaic. The back of the high-quality glass mosaic does not have a thick latex layer. It usually shows a jagged or stepped shape. This is a high quality mosaic.

5. In addition to ensuring the adhesive strength, the adhesive used on the glass mosaic should be easily scrubbed from the glass mosaic. The adhesive used should not damage the backing paper or discolor the glass mosaic.

6. The thickness of the glass mosaic should generally be between 4 and 4.3 mm, not too thick or too thin.

7. Under natural light, visual inspection at a distance of 0.5 m from the mosaic, there should be no cracks, flaws, missing edges, missing corners, and uniform color.

8. The backing paper used will not tear during reasonable handling and normal construction.

9. Randomly extract nine glass mosaics to form a square, place it flat in a well-lit area, and visually measure its uniformity at a distance of 1.5 meters.
